There you will be able to taste our Cake and also look through our brochure and talk through your ideas.
We also recommend you bring with you any ideas or samples of colours that you would like to incorporate within your Cake. If you don't have any these no need to worry as using our expertise we can create the Cake of your dreams.

If you do require tasting for your event please note there will be a small fee incurred.
Prices will be discussed at time of booking and a deposit will be taken to reserve the date.
Deposits are non - refundable. We will also discuss when final payment is required.
We accept cash, bank transfer, paypal or chip & pin and we also can accept telephone payments. We do not accept cheques.
If you decide to pay in full at the time of booking and wish to cancel we would need 1 weeks notice and a credit note will be issued not a refund. If you cancel without 1 weeks notice no credit note will be issued.
Please ensure you are happy with your order and everything is present and correct. Orders are unable to be returned or changed once they have left the shop. When creating your order we work with the information provided when booking to interpret your requirements to the best of our ability.

Once the order has left the premises the order will become the recipients responsibility.
CherryCakes cannot be held responsible for any breakages or damage to the Cake once it has left CherryCakes.

If upon delivery there is no one home a card will be left with a contact number to call to re arrange delivery. Re delivery will be charged at the same rate as the original delivery charge. Collection will also be offered.
Please ensure you have adequate space in your vehicle for your order as boxes can be larger than you think. always travel with your order in a flat surface. When carrying your order do not tip it up and keep it level at all times. Also do not squish the box as you may risk damaging your order.We recomend our CupCakes & Sponge Cakes are eaten within 5 days. Fruit Cakes within 6 months and Cookies within 1 week.
Store your Cake in the box provided, do not cover with tin foil or cling film as this will cause the Cake to sweat. There is also no need to refridgerate the Cake or CupCakes as this will effect the taste.
Also keep it our of the heat of the kitchen and cooking smells.
Cakes need to be cut with care, particularly fruit cakes and carrot cakes which can crumble if not handled carefully. Use a long bladed serrated saw knife, which must be SHARP - ornamental cake cutting knives used for photos are usually not nearly sharp enough. Use a clean damp cloth to clean and moisten the blade between each cut - this will help stop the knife dragging on the cake crumb. Use a sawing action with the serrated blade - don't just push the knife downwards - and make sure to cut all the way to the base board.
The cake may include non-edible decorations which must be removed before the cake is cut and served, such as wired sugar flowers, fresh flowers, models, internal supports etc. If being cut at a venue, PLEASE ENSURE that items are removed with care and retained for the customer to keep if required - this is especially important with fragile sugar flowers or modelled figure toppers which are usually intended as a keepsake.
